Structurally diverse bufadienolides from the skins of Bufo bufo gargarizans and their cytotoxicity
Abstract & Summary
Phytochemical investigation of Bufo bufo gargarizans skin yielded two new lactam-bearing bufadienolides alongside 22 known analogs. In vitro evaluation revealed differential cytotoxicity across human cancer cell lines, demonstrating the influence of C3 nitrogenous substitutions on antiproliferative activity.
